These terms apply when you enrol on a Career Axis course and use the student portal. Please read them before you enrol. If you're enrolling as a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.
1. Your enrolment
Your enrolment is confirmed when we confirm it to you in writing and create your portal account. Your course, plan (Recorded or Live), fee and payment schedule are as agreed with you at enrolment.
- Recorded plan: access to the course lectures, quizzes, assignments and marking.
- Live plan: everything in Recorded, plus live classes, your certificate included, and recruitment support (CV refresh, mock interviews and help with applications).
2. Your account
Your account is for you only. Keep your password private and don't share your login. We may suspend an account that's being shared or misused.
3. Course materials
Lectures, notes, client files and other materials are owned by Career Axis or our licensors and are for your personal study. You may not copy, share, resell or publish them, including sharing video links outside the portal.
4. Assignments and certificates
Your certificate is issued once you've watched every lecture and passed every quiz and assignment. On the Recorded plan, the certificate is issued once the certificate fee has been paid. Work you submit must be your own; we may withdraw a certificate obtained through copying, cheating or false information, and a withdrawn certificate no longer verifies.
5. Recruitment support
We work with you to find a role, but we can't guarantee a job offer, interview, salary or start date. Results depend on the job market and on your applications, interviews and availability.
6. Cancellations and refunds
If you enrol online or by phone, you have 14 days from the date your enrolment is confirmed to cancel and receive a full refund, by emailing support@catraining.co.uk.
If you ask to start your course within those 14 days, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the course content and services you've already received. Once you've completed the course or received your certificate, the cancellation right no longer applies.
We refund to the original payment method within 14 days of your cancellation. After the 14-day period, fees are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise or where we can't deliver the course you paid for.
7. Changes and availability
We may update course content and software versions to keep them current. If we make a significant change to a course you've paid for that you're unhappy with, contact us and we'll offer an alternative or a fair refund. We aim to keep the portal available at all times but may need short breaks for maintenance.
8. Our liability
We're responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We don't exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
9. Your data
How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. Complaints and law
If something goes wrong, email support@catraining.co.uk and we'll respond within 5 working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring claims in your local courts.
